Here’s a perfect card for Mother’s Day — plus has a POP-UP feature — for the WOW factor!

My video tutorial as featured on my Youtube Channel is more lengthy than my other videos due to the detailed nature of this project and some of the extra tips (coloring & shaping) demonstrated to enhance your paper crafting skills. It also features assembling an envelop.

Fancy Folds “Bendi” Card front
Begin with a base card of Basic White card stock and layer with flowers made from Daffodils Daydream, Pansy Patch, Hydragena Haven and Daisy Punch.

Acetate — WINDOW SHEET is used to create a clear dome and frames the flower bouquet. Every aspect of this project is special — including the inside of the popup card — by using the coordinating DSP.

Products & Dimensions:

  • Basic White Card Stock (12′ x 12″):
    • Base Card – 8″ x 6″
      • Score: 1″, 4″, 7″
    • Flower “curve” mechanism – 4″ x 1 1/2″
      • Score: 1/2″, 3 1/2″
    • End Pieces – 6″ x 1 1/4″ — CUT TWO
    • Die cut with the ORNATE BORDER dies
  • Window Sheet / Acetate:
    • Front Layer – 7″ x 6″
    • Score: 1/2″, 6 1/2″
    • HEAT EMBOSS: Use the STAMPARATUS to heat emboss with WHITE Embossing Powder with chosen sentiment on the Window Sheet.
  • “Dainty Flowers” Designer Series Paper (DSP):
    • FRONT Layers – 6″ x 2 7/8″ — CUT TWO
    • BACK Layers – 6″ x 2 7/8″ — CUT TWO
  • Silver Foil (corner hardware & Queen Anne Lace die)
    • 1-inch square
    • Basic 3D Embossing Folder (161598) to emboss “hardware” pattern
    • Center Hole Punch to create “divot”
