I added 2023-2025 IN COLOR DOTS to mark my corners…but also beautifully embellishes the adoring heart! Bubble Bath is the accent color.
Bubble Bath and Lost Lagoon inks create a beautiful center (the hearts are from the BEE MY VALENTINE! stamp)

  • CARDSTOCK:
    • Basic White – A2 Card (Base)
    • Adoring Heart Pieces:
      • Basic White – 6″ x 6″ square
      • Emboss with Versamark Ink
      • Apply SILVER Embossing powder, use HEAT TOOL and cut with DIE to create “adoring hearts” as embellishments
    • Center Medallion –
      • Basic White 4″ square to cut two filagree that are layered with DISTRESS MEDIUM
      • Boho Blue – cut 2 using Deckled Circle for Base and layer
      • Silver Embossed “adoring heart” for center
    • Origami Fold – 8″ x 8″ Basic White scored to create twelve 2″ squares
      • Score 2″ & 6″ all around
      • Score at 4″ to first score line all around
        • create middle square
          • use a METAL RULER, a STAMPIN’ Pierce Mat, and a SCORING tool to connect a 4″ line diagonally across each side (see video) to create a diamond shape
      • Basic White Cardstock – Center “diamond” for sentiment – 2.5″ x 2.5″ square
    • Boho Blue cardstock:
      • Layer (5 1/4″ x 4″) for front of card
      • Belly Band cut 1.5″ x 11″
        • Score 3.5″ and 7 3/16″
    • 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP)
      • Countryside Inn DSP
      • Poetic Expressions DSP
      • You need three coordinating patterns:
        • Pattern One: need 4 squares each cut 1.75″ square
        • Pattern Two: need 4 squares each cut 1.75″ square
        • Pattern Three: need 2 squares each cut 1.75″ square and then cut diagonally to form triangles
        • Use 4 “adoring hearts” as embellishments
        • Use non-directional cardstock for the corner pieces

  1. Sometimes you can solve the cracking by lightly spraying the paper with Tim Holtz’s Distress Ink Refresher. I’ve not used it on white SU CS but great success on other makers DSP that are notorious for cracking when scoring,
