The cross remains a symbol of hope and salvation. What is more universal than that?
For the last couple of years, I have perused the catalogs looking for the perfect stamp set that offered a pretty cross. I believe the The “Hold on to Hope” bundle delivers in both simplicity and elegance.
Truth be told; I was motivated to create a sympathy card and I always struggle with those. I want something simple yet profound. I don’t want to overwhelm the recipient with lots of fluff or do-dads…I’m never sure of the best color choice …something subtle. Yes, flowers are good; but not very masculine. For me it’s about “hope”.
That is what I find so perfect about this bundle. There are so many occasions that can use use this symbol of “hope” besides the obvious Easter Holiday or expression of sympathy.  This is the perfect card to send to a friend or loved one facing a serious illness, personal loss or devastation. Perfect congratulatory cards for a Holy Communion, Confirmation, Wedding, Blessing, Ordination or Baptism.
So I wanted to present some cards that I put together that can be used for any of those occasions and I invite you to watch my video tutorial for some tips for putting the filigree cross together. I hope you will enjoy watching; and please leave me a comment! I love feedback!

I love these cards! The sympathy card is so elegant!
Thank you Kelly! I was happy that SU came up with such a beautiful cross to work with. I also think sympathy cards in white are very elegant as well! I’m thinking of a workshop to show how to put this together. Blessings, Kat
