Card Size: Stands at 3″ x 7″ but folds flat to 5″ x 7″.
Products Used:
- Designer Series Paper: Bloom Impressions 12″x12″ DSP
- Stamp Sets: Here’s to Love, Classic Wedding Bundle, and Framed Florets Stamps & Dies
- Cardstock: Basic White, Silver Foil, White Glimmer Paper, Vellum
- Embossing Folders: Starstruck and Stylish Scroll
- Embellishments: Open Weave Trim in Silver, Loose Daisy Embellishments, Iridescent Rhinestones.
- Coloring Tools: Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight (HAIR), Grey Granite (CAR & SUIT), Balmy Blue (WINDOW), Smokey Slate (TIRES).
- Figures: Color flesh tones with SU900 / SU1000.
- Floral Colors: Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green
- Inks: Memento Black, StazOn.
Dimensions: (refer to Tutorial)
- Pillar: 2 pieces 3.5″ x 7″, score at .75″, 1.5″, 2.25″, 3″
- Base & Top: 4 pieces cut 5.5″ x 1.25″, score at 3″, 5″
- Base & Top DSP Layers: 4 pieces 1″ x 2.75″, 4 pieces 1″ x 1.75″
- Vellum: 4″ x 6″ (to emboss with pattern)
Step 1: Card Base & Assembly 🛠️📏🌿
Start by creating the tower base using Basic White cardstock. Cut and score your cardstock according to the tower card measurements, ensuring all sides fold cleanly. The structural integrity of the card is key to making it stand tall and elegant.
Layer the Bloom Impressions DSP panels around the TOP and BASE.
COOL EFFECT: Use Silver Foil and White Glimmer Paper to stamp “wedding gown” using StazOn ink. ✨🌸💫
Step 2: Stamped Elements 🖋️🌼📜
BRIDE & GROOM: Using the Here’s to Love stamp set, stamp the elegant bride and groom image onto Basic White cardstock with Smokey Slate ink. Color using Stampin’ Blends in Grey Granite, Balmy Blue, and Daffodil Delight. The soft and classic colors bring out a timeless charm.
LIMO: Using the Classic Wedding stamp set & dies for the wedding “limo”. I used iridescent cardstock for the chrome accents, RED GLIMMER paper for the head lights.
FLORAL ACCENTS : Stamp additional floral elements using the Framed Florets stamp set, then fussy cut them with the coordinating dies. Add dimension by layering the blooms with vellum and Silver Foil accents. 🌿🪄💐
Step 3: Embellishments & Texture 🌟🧵🌸
To add luxurious texture, emboss Vellum using the Starstruck and Stylish Scroll embossing folders. The delicate patterns perfectly complement the wedding theme.
Take 4″ x 6″ Basic White card stock and emboss with your chosen pattern and then cut into 1/2″ wide strips to add to the Pillars around the card.
For the bride’s veil, use the Silver Open Weave Trim. This lightweight and elegant trim creates a soft, flowing effect, adding a touch of romance. 💫👰♀️✨
Step 4: Coloring the Florals 🎨🌿🌸
Color the floral images using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Peach Pie, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Add to the top & bottom to the PILLAR BASE to frame the arrangement. 🌼🌿🌞
Finishing Touches 💍🌟🎁
Add a sentiment from the Classic Wedding Bundle using OVAL DIES to attach to the back.
Use VELLUM (patterned) or embossed (cut 6″ x 3″) for the back and frame with
