The ANIMAL OUTING stamps and ANIMAL FRIENDS dies are perfect for all ages and all occasions (birthday, welcome baby, friendship, love). Sometimes when I’ve had enough petals, stems and leaves…I have to shift gears and enjoy the refreshing simplicity and FUN from working with a stamp set that features critters! They never fail to make me smile!

I love the safari texture this card evokes. I used Granny Apple Green and some old Lemon Lime Twist on Crumb Cake with a swatch of Burlap Ribbon (craft store) …Dakari! A framelit from the TROPICAL Die set is perfect for these best friends. I did a reverse image stamping to create the reverse giraffe image and the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder for the background and the Stitched Nested Labels for the sentiment.The long frame piece from the ANIMAL FRIENDS framelits on Lemon Lime Twist (mounted on Granny Apple Green) was the perfect foil for these two with a couple of palms from the TROPICAL dies set. I used the rest of my retired DSP for the giraffe pattern. The base card is Crumb Cake on WW. This is my favorite for the simplicity of the composition. Basic Grey using the SUBTLE embossing folder as the base…with WW and some old DSP and the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon says it all! Nothing can be more classic than PINK & BLUE…for a baby card (do they still use those colors?)….using the Swirls and Curls embossing folder in Balmy Blue and Blushing Bride with the Layered Stitched Ovals and either the 3/8″ Denim or 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbons.Mint Macaron card stock as a base for this monochromatic card using the Garden Lane Specialty DSP and Mint Macaron Ribbon. Kangaroo colored with MM Stampin’ Blends, Koala in Gray Granite (used Fine Tip Glue to accent) and flowers in Flirty Flamingo (from fussy cut from the Varied Vases set)Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP, WW, and Garden Green card stock. Rhino colored with Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. Bird in Purple Posy and beak in Flirty Flamingo;2 1/2″ Circle cut in Vellum and then embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions and used a piece of Burlap Ribbon to embellish.
