Exploding Box Card Valentine

Use the Country Floral Suite and Share A Milkshake Bundle to embellish an “exploding” box card. Cardstock includes the Country Gingham, Country Floral DSP, Dandy Designs DSP (Free with Sale-a-bration), and Specialty Glimmer Paper that coordinate perfectly.

Key to the fun of this project is to begin by stamping, cutting, and embossing all the project pieces in advance to later assemble to embellish each layer.

Techniques include Two-Step Stamping & Embossing using the Stamparatus and Die Cutting. A Project PDF is available below.

Featured Projects

Begin with 12″ square DSP. Lid is 6 1/8″ square (score 1″)

Looking at the inside of the 12″ square DSP (score 3.75″) embellished with cut out from the DSP using the Country Bouquet Bundle.

The second/middle box layer uses 11.25″ square (scored at 4″) using Dandy Designs DSP. The Cane Weave 3-D Embossing folder is cut from Basic White with the Layering Square Dies. A Vellum Doilie background for the sentiment label.

Looking at the third layer/innermost piece (10.5″ square (score 3.5″)) is cut from Dandy Designs DSP and embellished with elements from the Share a Milkshake bundle.
