Sometimes you need to embrace the magic of acetate! From last week’s post, where I featured the Mercury Glass Acetate; I wanted to present another project using plain acetate or WINDOW SHEETS.
Again I feature the NATURE’S BEAUTY and SNOW FRONT stamps to demonstrate the versatility these sets provide.
Follow the Video Tutorial where I provide some tips and tricks after several failed attempts…I turned on the camera, hit record… and just “went for it” to film the process of putting this project together. Hope this provides some inspiration…please leave a comment and thank you for stopping by!!!
INKS: NIGHT OF NAVY, BLUEBERRY BUSHEL, MEMENTO BLACK and StazON ink (for stamping on acetate).
SIZES: Base card in NIGHT OF NAVY (5.5″x4.25″ longways), inside is WHISPER WHITE (10″x4″) to brayer with BLUEBERRY BUSHEL.
After the color is applied with SPONGE BRAYER…cut in half.
FRAMELITS: Use the LARGEST of Layering Ovals to cut the Night of Navy. Use the next size of Layering Oval to cut the INSIDE. Use WASHI tape to hold in place when you run the piece through your cutting machine.
COLOR: Color the Fox with Stamping Blends Alcohol Markers after the image is stamped with MEMENTO BLACK ink.
Use WHITE GLIMMER paper to cut the pieces from the PEACEFUL BOUGHS set.
The sentiment “enjoy the stillness of the season” is from the MERRY MOOSE stamp set.
Use the SNOWFALL ACCENTS PUFF PAINT for the snow around the fox’s feet.
Gorgeous idea!
Beautiful card that inspired lots of new ideas. Thank you.
