I have to admit that putting this birthday card together really intimidated me at first.  However,  after I sat down and worked with the products I figured out some tips and tricks that would make assembly much easier.   

I also wanted to feature not only putting the card together…but the embellishments that  make all the difference.  I will also tell you that I gave the card featured here to my nephew for his 15th birthday…he loved it!  It was a hit with his parents, siblings and grandparents for giving such a great and unique card!  That in itself made all the effort worth it!  I mean, isn’t that part of why we do this craft?  To give joy to others?  This card delivers!

Here is a key TIP for making sure this card comes together flawlessly (as proven by viewer feedback):

Line up a straight edge at the CORNER cut and score across (it will leave 1/4″ for the fold). This will ensure your card folds flat.
Line up on CORNER score.
Your FOIL facer should meet that scoreline; NOT down to the bottom to allow for the fold.
