This technique features the BIGGEST WISH (155052) and ART IN BLOOM (155085) stamp sets which are both featured in the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
Here is an EASY technique that delivers a lot of POW! Follow my tutorial with all the tips for this technique. Here are the KEY points for this technique:
The key for making this card is to select a BOLD stamp that you can emboss with WHITE embossing powder that will create your “foreground” message. That is why I selected the BIGGEST WISH stamp set (155052). Since it is a relatively small stamp, I quartered my watercolor paper so that I could create a design more graphic design using the different PLAIN and CURSIVE typestyles.
The next key selection is to choose a pattern stamp to create a subtle background. I choose the ART IN BLOOM stamp (155085) for the thin line image.
The basic steps are:
(1) Emboss with White Embossing Powder the key image/sentiment on watercolor paper
(2) Use the CLEAR block to apply INKs and spritz with water and apply to paper
(3) Use the WATER PAINTERS to spread the ink over the image
(4) Use HEAT GUN to ensure the paper is DRY before stamping the background image and then wipe with baby wipe (daub carefully) careful not to spread ink over image
