I’m a girlie girl. But…I love my fishing. Trout fishing. I caught my first cutthroat trout when I was in 3rd grade along the Rio Grande with my Dad while my uncles and Grandfather looked on. I was the eldest girl among 8 boys of cousins/brothers. Just imagine my Dad’s pride and personal satisfaction with his daughter bringing in the first catch of the day that summer afternoon. Not surprising that this stamp set brought back all those special memories.
Mind you, it took years later that I started to master fly-fishing along the Rio Hondo in New Mexico (along Taos Ski Valley). I loved the solitude and challenge of the pursuit. Fly-fishing is an active pursuit. While I was away in the service, I saw my sister grow into her own and far surpass me as the fisher-WO-man in the family. Thanks Dad. Below are all the products, dimensions and a video tutorial for you to create your best catch!

Thank you so much for sharing this card!! My husband fly fishes, a lot, and this is perfect for him and his fishing buddies. He goes out west every year with them, and also fishes at home on the Clinch River and in the mountains in East Tennessee. Thanks again for the inspiration!! By the way, I grew up in Pensacola!! I LOVE the Florida panhandle!!
