I found an old retired stamp set “Jewish Celebrations” for a customer recently and decided to feature a fancy folds card shape “Star of David”. It is rather uncomplicated and can offer utilization for any celebration. Please view the video TUTORIAL for tips and tricks!
Supplies:
- 12″x12″ Cardstock
- Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer
- Stampin” Up! Score Board
- BONE FOLDER
- Complimentary Designer Series Paper (DSP) or cardstock
- 12″ ruler
- Pencil
- Embellishments
Instructions:
- Mark 6″ of the 12″ cardstock
- Draw a line 1″-2″ down towards the middle
- Cut the excess off once a 12″ equilateral triangle has been formed
- On each of the three sides: put a pencil mark at the 6″, 4″ and 8″ measurement so that each edge has three dots.
- Use a scoreboard to connect the top dot on each side to the top dot on the opposite side.
- Do the same with the middle and third dot.
- Each of the three sections should now have three scored lines to bend the card to show points and folded edges.
- Take a BONE FOLDER and press all the edges down into sharp creases.
- DECORATE: Trace and decorate each star point.
- Trace and glue the paper into the center triangle (a piece of Whisper White) for a sentiment.
