Holiday Tags!  


What is better than to give a bottle of wine to a party hostess, box of cigars to your favorite guy, or basket of fresh baked goodies to a deserving friend or neighbor and — presentation is everything — present them with a special hand made tag!  

As you scroll through my blog, I feature TWO stamp sets (MERRY LITTLE LABELS and the LABELS OF LOVE)  with the accompanying EVERYDAY LABEL, SCALLOPED TAG TOPPER, BANNER TRIPLE punches and your choice of wonderful accents and Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Holiday Catalog to make these SIMPLE and ELEGANT projects!   

Let’s get started! 

CLASSIC CHRISTMAS  – These 3″X3″ gift tags were created using the LABELS TO LOVE stamp set and the EVERYDAY LABEL PUNCH and CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD DSP with  STITCHED FELT EMBELLISHMENTS and REAL RED 1/8″ Solid Ribbon.
Embellished wood accents and DSP from the CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD.  

The new PIZZA BOXES are the perfect size to package a set of 4 to 6 cards with coordinating 3″ Envelopes! 
PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING!  – A PIZZA BOX tied with the QUILTED CHRISTMAS 1/4″ Ribbon and topped with a STITCHED FELT EMBELLISHMENT is ready for giving!
HO HO HO FUN – Take WHISPER WHITE (2″ Wide) and Merry Little Christmas Memories & More Card Pack stock (144638) cut to 2″wide and shaped with both the Tag Topper and Triple Banner punches.   I used the SANTA’s SUIT Stamp Set and DIE to cut the Santa hat (save 10% on the bundle) to add as an accent. 

GLAM IT UP WITH GOLD – Using same 2″ dimensions and the LABELS TO LOVE Stamp Set on WHISPER WHITE and then “popped up” with SU Dimensionals on BASIC BLACK Card Stock, layered with Red and White DSP and paired with the new STRIPED TREAT BAGS (144255), GOLD BINDER CLIPS (141673) and tied with 1/8″ GOLD RIBBON for a glamorous presentation. 
GINGERBREAD GINGHAM –    Red Plaid card stock from the QUILTED CHRISTMAS 6″X6″ DSP Pack cut to 2″ wide is layered atop  WHISPER WHITE (2″) cut with the SCALLOPED TAG TOPPER  and BANNER TRIPLE Punch and FELT accents for a old fashion Christmas look!  
HOMEMADE WHIMSY – These are so fast and easy.  Cut WHISPER WHITE, REAL RED and GARDEN GREEN Card Stock  into 2″ Strips to your desired length.  Emboss the red/green card stock with the Embossing Folder for texture…decorate you tags with WASHI TAPE…a FELT Accent or Cut Out (from DSP) 
Wreath fussy cut from the CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD DSP and Real Red Card Stock embossed with the SPARKLE (141468) Embossing Folder adds texture! 

SILVER SHINE: Using SILVER EMBOSSING Powder on REAL RED Card Stock using the MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS Stamp Set is stunning. 
Pop the TAG with SU Dimensionals on SILVER FOIL for a perfect combination!
GOLDEN ELEGANCE – YEAR OF CHEER Speciality DSP cut to 2 3/4″ square and GOLD FOIL card stock cut with the LEAF PUNCH to use as an accent on the 3″X3″ envelops are packaged elegantly in a PIZZA box!   The Christmas Trees are actually left overs from the BE MERRY KIT on page 32 of the Holiday Catalog set on GOLD THREAD and topped with a GOLD ENAMEL SHAPE.  

WINE TAGS – Just imagine a bottle of wine wrapped in the 6″X7″ GUSSETED CELLOPHANE BAGS, tied with ribbon and one of these beautiful tags!  Stamped or heat embossed with GOLD on VERY VANILLA or  CHERRY COBBLER with the HALF FULL stamp set and tied with GOLD EDGED Ribbon  and GOLD FOIL card stock.  See my BLOG post for a link to my video!

This project was CASED from Amanda Charlesworth at SCRIMPINGMOMMY in the UK.  She has a great YOUTUBE video that provides all the steps for constructing this wreath or centerpiece.  
I hope my designs here inspire you to create your own!   I have a LINKS to below to direct you where to purchase supplies!  
Take sixteen 4X4″and sixteen 3X3″ pieces of your favorite HOLIDAY Designer Series Paper, roll each into a CONE shape and glue around a 6″ diameter cardboard circle

And create a great wreath or centerpiece to use or give as a gift this holiday season!
